Personal Best Karate presents free anti-bullying class

Personal Best Karate will present Done with Bullying, a free anti-bullying class for children ages 7 to 12, at noon Oct. 28 at 250 East Main St.

The program is aimed at teaching practical strategies for identifying and dealing with bullying behavior.

Personal Best Karate’s founder, Chris Rappold, has worked closely with both public and private school systems through the implementation of the program, a comprehensive school-wide program that provides a framework for students, parents and faculty members to prevent or respond to bullying in an empowering way.

“Together with the Personal Best teaching faculty, we are proud to have lead the way in the communities we serve educating children on how to be role model citizens,” said Rappold. “The Done with Bullying campaign is a great extension of the groundwork we have laid. We hope that parents take advantage of this free opportunity to empower their children. This type of education is so valuable, it is like insurance for your child, you hope you never have to use it, but if your child runs into bullying you will be so thankful they learned these simple skills in advance.”

To sign up for the program, call 508-285-5425 or email nortondesk@personalbestkarate.com.
